Dr. Nada Salhab is a Dubai-based Clinical Dietitian with over 16 years of regional and international experience. She has built her knowledge and career in Nutrition and Dietetics across 5 different countries, namely Lebanon, the United States of America, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands. Her caring and personalized approach, holistic understanding of nutrition and insatiable drive to learn new industry practices and techniques have given her a unique edge in dealing with her patients as she consistently and genuinely seeks to make a difference in their lives. Today, she is a well-reputed Clinical Dietitian and a trusted Healthy Living Consultant. She’s been featured in TV Shows as Guest Speaker and has acted as Guest Speaker and Moderator in the Dubai Nutrition Conference. She’s also had 6 publications in local and international journals, in addition to her active participation in international conferences in The Netherlands and Spain.
Dr. Salhab is a licensed nutritionist and dietitian by the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon since 2006. She also holds a professional license from Dubai Health Authority in the United Arab Emirates since 2009.
Born in the coastal city of Batroun, Lebanon, Nada Salhab was fascinated by the rich, flavorful and wholesome Mediterranean diet. Her passion for a healthy lifestyle started at home, and as she grew up, she strived to know more about the many ways in which nutrition can impact life. As a practicing Clinical Dietitian, she seeks to transform people’s lives, not only by helping them lose weight, but also by assisting them in gaining lifelong healthy eating and living habits that would enable them to feel good in their own skin.
Nada Salhab earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanon, in 2001. Upon her graduation, she travelled to the United States where she obtained a Master of Science in Nutrition from The Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas in 2003, while also working as an Instructor in their Biology Department. She then went back to Lebanon to complete her internship at the Dietetic Department of the Hotel Dieu De France Hospital – Beirut in 2004. Between 2004 and 2008, Nada worked in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon as a Clinical Dietitian, in addition to her role as a Research Assistant in the Nutrition and Dietetic Department at AUB. In 2008, she moved to Dubai where she built a solid career for herself. Most recently, Nada completed her 4-year PhD at the School of Nutrition & Translational Research in Metabolism at Maastricht University in The Netherlands.
